The Tully Community Garden is beginning its season and is always happy to have new members. The Garden is located behind St. Leo's Parish Hall on Onondaga Street in Tully. It is one common plot, organically planted to a wide range of vegetables in raised beds. There is no charge to join, though donations are gratefully accepted. Tools are available, and seeds and seedlings are provided. Members come on their own schedule, though there are a few work days in the spring and fall so those who are available can work together and enjoy each other's gardening knowledge. Members who put in time are entitled to whatever their family will eat. No gardening background is required. If interested, call, text, or email Kathy Vernay: 315-416-6629, kvernay@twcny.rr.com.
